Yosef Romanov, born June 6, 1966, is a Russian man, a graduate of Omsk State University where he got a masters degree is coffee. He is the son of Anna Romanov, grandson of Rada K. Romanov and cousin of Aleksey Pivovarov. His greastest and pretty much only skill is his above average knowledge of coffee, and its associated fertility.
Early Life
Yosef was born in the the town of Omsk Russia of the Soviet Union on June 6, 1966. Through his childhood, he would develop his hobby of growing, brewing and drinking coffee that would eventually lead to him graduating from OmSU with a masters degree in coffee. He would live in Omsk until he joined Aleksey on a trip to the Gambia looking for coffee in 1998. He would meet Aleksey's girlfriend, Aisha Mankita on this journey.
Mid Life – Gambian Days
After returning to Russia after his 98' voyage to the Gambia with Aleksey, he decided that he would move to live in the Gambia so that he could get closer with the 'Hot Brews'. In the Gambia, he would frequently visit Bakau, the same place Aisha lived at the time. He would continue to return to the Gambia on coffee expeditions, sometimes on his own and other times with Aleksey for many years before deciding to the move to Bakau Gambia in 2015. After living in Bakau for a year, he would marry Aisha on June 12, 2016, unaware that Aisha was already married to Aleksey at the time.
Modern Times – Goodbye Gambia
In November of 2016, Yosef's quiet life in Gambia with his coffee plants and Gambian wife would all end when the new President, Adama Barrow would ban all coffee. This event would put Yosef in one of the lowest point in his life and he had no choice but to move back to Omsk and leave behind his beloved Gambia wife, Aisha. The two would maintain contact online through Facebook.
In Omsk, Yosef would apply the knowledge he learned growing coffee in the Gambia to land a job at Кофебус (Coffee Bus) This would new career in coffee would help keep his mind off of his far-away wife in Gambia until June 12, 2018 (Aisha and Yosef's 2nd anniversary) that him and Aleksey would learn of the other's camaraderie with Aisha. After learning they had both married the same woman, Aleksey and Yosef would grow hate towards each other that would all be concluded in The Worse Days.
After "killing" Aleksey in the Gambian Holiday, Yosef was consumed with guilt. This worsened after the tragic events of the GamBABY Jam ALL STAR EDITION. Finally, he acquiescently joined his grandfather BOB on a mission to save the fertility of Mr. Sioux Red, which ended with Aleksey being brought back to life in a new, altered form.
Yosef is portrayed by Steve Buschemi in the Meena Productions 2020 film Bob and Yosef's Worst Days.
