False Reflection

A False Reflection is a type of being created by incorrectly passing through a dimensional boundary or any kind of space-time malfunction. The less fertility a person has, the more likely it is that crossing one of these malfunctions will cause their bodies to be destroyed and replaced with a False Reflection. The False Reflection will look like them and have the same soul and memories, but their physical body will rely on a different set of physics (that of a typical Crossplane Purgatory) and their power will be based on their former body's lack of fertility, known as sterility. Under Purgatory physics, a False Reflection gains the ability to fly and move through solid surfaces on the mortal plane, view (but rarely travel to) similar dimensions on the Imaginary Plane, make direct contact with Super Ghosts, and cancel out equivalent fertility. A well-trained False Reflection can gain the ability to manipulate pion interactions and Y(4260), allowing them to determine whether clusters of particles are protons or neutrons.

They were a rarity in -17i before the mistranslation of Burong in 2036, creating two spacetime malfunctions on Earth.
