Dry Tea

Dry Tea refers to dried tea leaves, purified by a Sterility-enhancing ritual, and eaten raw without water.

The Leafeaters believe that, instead of oversteeping tea and consuming it in liquid form, it is more conducive to acquiring Sterility to instead eat the dried tea leaves directly. This, of course, is utter nonsense and has contributed greatly to C.H.E.S. consistenly defeating the Leafeaters every time they fight due to the latter’s comparatively weaker Sterility.

Nuck Chorris, of course, is well aware of this fact, for which reason C.H.E.S. members are forbidden from consuming, producing, or interacting with Dry Tea in any way other than destroying it under penalty of expulsion from the organisation. Even using Dry Tea to brew tea is forbidden, as the rituals employed by the Leafeaters in its production are purposefully designed to render Dry Tea harmful to one’s Sterility upon contact with hot water.
