Sir Walter Raleigh Requiem was a Requiem Ghost who hid in many places in the colonial Mid-Atlantic after his death. He is responsible for the corruption of The Jersey Devil in 1749.

During his life, he was one of the high-ranking members of English society. In 1618, he was beheaded (and subsequently died). Being vaguely extrafertile from his experience with Mega Tobacco, he became a ghost and entered the Realm of the Dead. Over the years, he realized that in the Mortal Plane a town in the new world would be named in his honor. He was determined to make his way to the town of Raleigh and become its local Super Ghost.

The journey was harrowing and lasted nearly 70 years, and he nearly Super-died along the way. In 1749, he gained his Requiem form and re-entered the Mortal Plane by following the orders of Teshub to sacrifice a child using concentrated Mega Tobacco. This child became The Jersey Devil. The Jersey Devil swore eternal vengeance upon Raleigh, condemning him to prison in Yggdrasil. After escaping and making it to Raleigh in 1799 he was rejected a seat as its local Super Ghost, as the region was already claimed by Mountain Mama.

He Super-Died shortly after a Bruce Springsteen Concert in 1980.
