David Branx is a wizard, half-breed Super Ghost. Once firmly on the side of the Super Ghosts like his father Gar, he instead chose to embrace "love of source" and joined the Hallowed Council to protect the fertility of the world. He is the son of Rabo and Gar, born in about 1980.
