Waffle Man was an Australian bandit. He and his wife, Female of Beer, were petty thieves patrolling the Great Barrier Reef in 2018 when they were struck by a mysterious energy. They had become False Reflections but had no idea. All they knew is that they gained the ability to effortlessly destroy matter. Since then they had been trolling the waters of the South China sea, stealing from the Chinese and Vietnamese military.

In 2024, he came into conflict with Captain Jacques Spereaux over the copper and guano trade through the greater Papuan region. This came to a head at the Bougainville Mixup of 2024, where Waffle Man was finally granted Super Death. Female of Beer witnessed the event and swore vengeance upon Captain Spereaux.
