The Fifth Sinking of Burong was an environmental mishap that took place following the Friendly Council's 1986 Sinking of Burong. The Fifth Sinking would not have occurred if not for the meddling of the Bean Boarders. Friendly Council members Dale and Teshub converted themselves to humans for sport to participate in the cleanup of the prior sinking that they caused. An angered Bean Border assaulted Dale for walking too slowly, causing an energy burst as they were both highly charged with fertility. The two got into a fist fight and Dale won, eliminating the Bean Border. Dale and Teshub hurriedly teleported to another dimension and simply sunk the city again to punish the people living there.
