The Neoliberal Sonic Fans' Party is an American political party founded in 2023 as a merger of the shattered remains of the Republican and Democratic Parties caused by Jeffrey Meena's meteoric party system transition.

Origins

Republicans and Democrats who refused to join the We Love America Yay Party or the Witch's Coven Party found themselves in a situation untenable for either to gain majorities in any governing body in the nation. After the 2022 midterms Republicans and Democrats lost control of the majority of their majorities in the majority of states.

By 2023, the two parties that once made up the two-party system convened in one of their last strongholds: Rogers, Arkansas. There, their national committees decided to merge together and create a new party based on what they had in common. Finally, two things were decided: first, that they were united in their love for the neoliberal world order; and secondly, that SEGA's "Sonic the Hedgehog" video game series was one of the best things to happen to humanity.

2024

Despite not being a fan of Sonic herself, the new party nominated Pennsylvanian Walmart Manager, School Board member, and viral social media performance artist Sharon Kay as their candidate for President of the United States. The foundation of the Sonic Fans' Party attracted the attention of some of the most powerful beneficiaries of corporatocracy, and as such, Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos bought himself a spot as Kay's Vice Presidential "pick."

The party performed abysmally in the 2024 United States Presidential Election, with Sharon Kay winning 7 states and one of Maine's districts, totalling 67 Electoral College votes.
