TAX

Teachers Against XMAS, or TAX, is an organisation based in Belfast comprising several secondary-school teachers across Northern Ireland. It was founded in January 1971 following the mysterious disappearance of several dozen children during a Christmas party at a school in Coleraine, with one of the teachers in attendance testifying that 'they were carried away by a horrible thing in red’.

In 2022, TAX joined the Grinch Alliance.
