The so-called Hammer of God (often just called the Hammer) is a Sterility Technique, though some call it an ability, used mainly by Nuck Chorris. It is an extreme variant of Sterile Acceleration that accelerates Nuck’s roundhouse kick to ungodly speeds.
Elaboration
The Hammer’s acceleration is over 1000× that of a regular sterility-enhanced kick, moving at speeds of several km/ms. In other words, Nuck’s leg reaches speeds of integer percentiles of c, the speed of light.
Murdock mac Leod is the only person or thing known to have survived a hit by the Hammer, though he was wounded so severely that he had to withdraw from the fight.
No-one has ever seen a ‘compressed’ Hammer (i.e. a Hammer to which Pressure Transfer is applied, similar to a Compressed Punch), but when asked, Nuck stated that he could do it.
Name
This technique was originally named by other members of C.H.E.S. Nuck finds the name a bit pretentious (which is rare for him), and generally just calls it ‘the Hammer’.
