Extrafertile

To be extrafertile is to have higher than typical quantities of fertility, in whatever manifestation it may take.

Classification

The average human possesses between 0 and 2 Fertilities. For a human to be considered "extrafertile," however, one must attain a Fertility level significantly higher, often in the tens or hundreds of thousands.

Colors of Fertility

Fertility and fertility aptitude is often divided into two to three "colors," often referred to as "Masculine," "Feminine," and "Iridescent." These colors do not describe the makeup of Fertility itself, but rather an individual's absorption, retention, and application of the Fertility of one's body. 'Masculine' fertility is dense, more easily concealable, and more easily dispersed. 'Feminine' fertility flows more freely and is nearly impossible to conceal and usually lingers within the physical form and does not wish to be dispersed into the outer world. 'Iridescent' Fertility is a color of fertility that many often pass through the media of the human body as well as most matter for significant distances before reverting to the gravity of the core user and can often interfere with not only the Fertility of others but the makeup of reality itself.

These terms were coined by the earlier members of the Hallowed Council of Severe Thunderstorms as the first two were associated with the biological sex of the individual in question, however these are incongruous descriptors. Someone born Male can have 'Female' or 'Iridescent' Fertility, for example. Those with high levels of Fertility often can fluctuate their Colors freely.

Effects of Extrafertility

The effects of additional fertility possessed by a human are minimal at first. One with a Fertility level between 100 and 9,999 may experience no effects noticeable to any other human. Above 10,000 Fertility, a person often gains the ability to sense the Fertility or Sterility Level in others, through any of the main five senses or through a new, indescribable sense.

When the Fertility level of a human increases to drastic levels, the impact the person has on the physics and metaphysics of the universe begins to increase at a logarithmic rate. A Fertility above 100,000 begins to increase a person's innate strength and ability to heal from wounds. Above 1,000,000, many individuals may be able to focus their energy to weaken their tethering to various laws of physics such as thermodynamics, gravity, and electromagnetism.

After this point, Fertility has reached a potency at which the individual's personalities, beliefs, and Resolve become entangled with the physical effects of their power on the external world. This is where an individual is typically associated with a particular Ability. This is where an individual's power caps in its severity, as they are typically limited to what their personality and resolve allows.
