Denaturation

In preternatural contexts, the term denaturation refers to any form of death that does not effect a cessation of extancy, that is, in particular, not Super Death or Hyper Death.

Thus, a ‘denatured’ being is one that is dead, but still extant, e.g. a Super Ghost.
