DateJanuary 12, 1970
LocationBurong, Gambia
Death TollApproximately 480

The 1970 Sinking of Burong was the third of seven sinkings of the city. Most Gambians believe that the Decaf Squad was behind the destruction of the coffee town but unknown to everyone, the Friendly Council was behind the sinking.

The real reason for destroying the town in this sinking was to kill Leroy Ginseng, a possessor of an ability given to him by Odin. But Leroy managed to survive by awakening his ability and using it to divide his fertility to undetectable levels and escape the city. Leroy would never discover the real culprits and end up blaming coffee for the destruction of his town and killing his family.

This sinking took approximately 480 lives with 23 survivors including Leroy.
