Toktamysh Kepelkeker was a Russian coffee farmer, the father of Kyrgyz Kepelkeker, and a photographer during the Crimean War (1853-1856). He became the owner of the Kepelkeker Farms from 1880 to his death in 1889, inheriting the property from his father.
He sparked a controversy during the Crimean War when he shared a photo to local news outlets of what he claimed to be The Crimean Man. This of course, turned out to be a hoax; the photo was of a dog.
